I am the proud joint owner of Findley's of Cooden and Findleys Secretarial Services. For many years we had been asked by our customers to venture into Block Management. Mainly, it seemed, as the level of service they were being offered didn’t meet their expectations. We set up with the vision of changing that by offering a more personal approach to management, whilst still providing a vast improvement in service levels. This includes a state of the art software solution that allows each leaseholder to view their accounts online, a dedicated maintenance manager, separate accounts department and a separate company secretarial service. We are never afraid to expand with demand and have the infrastructure to manage as many flats as we are offered. As the Financial Director and Company Secretary at Findley’s of Cooden, I serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and leaseholders, addressing any issues that may arise. In my role as Company Secretary, I manage the administrative aspects of the properties in our portfolio, which includes handling property sales, completing LPE1 forms, compiling the necessary data for solicitors and accountants, and ensuring the smooth execution of all legal and financial processes related to the portfolio.
As Financial Director, I oversee the accounts department, ensuring that all financial operations are carried out efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. I am responsible for ensuring the financial health of the company, including overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring that our clients’ financial interests are well managed.
I also attend and chair AGMs and Directors' meetings, take minutes, and ensure that all Company House filings and account submissions are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, I oversee compliance and legal requirements for our portfolio, ensuring that all necessary documents and records are maintained to the highest standards.
With 10 years of experience in property management, I pride myself on being both professional and approachable, always ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
With 15 years of experience in Residential Property and Property Management, I have had the opportunity to take on a variety of roles within the industry. In 2019, I completed my Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management, which enabled me to become a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.

In 2020, I decided to take a break from the property industry and pursued a role within the NHS, an experience that I found to be incredibly rewarding. After a year away, I realised that my true passion lies within property management, and I returned to the industry with enthusiasm.
I was fortunate to join Findley’s of Cooden as a Block Manager, where I worked closely with the Block Management team in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our portfolio. In January 2025, I was promoted to Office Manager, where I now oversee the daily running of the branch, ensuring smooth operations and continued success.

In my current role, I am responsible for overseeing block management services and maintenance contracts, ensuring they remain up to date. I conduct regular site inspections across our portfolio, diagnosing potential issues, identifying existing insurance risks, and ensuring follow-up visits and reports are completed where necessary. Additionally, I ensure that each site remains compliant with health and safety regulations.
Alongside my responsibilities in property management, I am also actively involved in estate management, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the estates within our portfolio. This includes liaising with contractors and ensuring that all aspects of estate maintenance are carried out efficiently.
I am also involved in key negotiations concerning long-term agreements, repairs, and lease contracts, striving to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

The combination of my experience in both the construction and property sectors has equipped me with valuable transferable skills that I am excited to apply in my current role at Findley’s of Cooden.

One of my key priorities is ensuring that arrears are consistently updated and that outstanding funds are recovered as efficiently as possible.
